Hi there,

     Is there anyone ever using C++ Builder and InstallShield Express to
install BDE Merge Module?

     if the following message was shown:

     "Setup could not detect a valid version of Delphi or C++ Builder.
     To use this module, you must have an enterprise version of Delphi or
C++ Builder installed.
     installation can not continue."

     actually, the correct version of C++ Builder 6 was installed. anyone
knows how to solve this problem?

    Sincerely
    Joseph

AFAIK, with BCB6 you cannot deploy BDE automatically
althought in the Help it states that you just selecet the module!

Instead it says that the feature is available only in FULL
InstallShield, which you must purchase.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Till then I'm a happy user of free InnoSetup.
