I wonder if there is some technology that we have that is not allowed outside the USA? I'm using a lot of std containers but have not done anything about allocators could this be important? My other apps have run on over a hundred different computers, both US and European. Any general ideas ?

[Next time you start a thread please give your post a short, descriptive Subject: header and a "self-contained" body (some people probably can't read the Subject: header). Thanks!] "Lynne Daniels" <llezica@earthlink.net> writes: > I wonder if there is some technology that we have that is not > allowed outside the USA? "Outside the USA" is a bit vague. There certainly are some countries where some things aren't allowed. I don't believe that your problem is related to political or legal differences, though. > I'm using a lot of std containers but have not done anything about > allocators could this be important? Hardly. > My other apps have run on over a hundred different computers, both > US and European. Any general ideas ? The most likely cause of your problem are different settings concerning: - language - currency - date and time (formatting, daylight saving time ...) - number formatting - ... In order to get more focused response, you'd have to give us better indications about what "runs find" and "not" mean.
