Hello, My application is done but I can't deploy it... I would like to ship a single exe file without midas.dll I've searched many forums and the newsgroup archive but my problem remains. Based on the hints in the readme.txt and an ancient message, this is what I do : dbxdsnint.lib is added to the project files in the main.h I have #include <sqlexpr.hpp> //only for the call to RegisterDbXpressLib() see below #include <dbxdsnint.h> And in the main form constructor, I have RegisterDbXpressLib(::getSQLDriverINTERBASE); RegisterMidasLib(::DllGetDataSnapClassObject); From what I understand I need to register with any one of the db library to get the midas code ( here I used Interbase ). Dynamic RTL and runtime packages are turned off. It compiles, but I get 4 linker warnings, stating that some functions are defined in two places. I get an "Error loading MIDAS.DLL" upon application startup when running on the test computer which hasn't BCB installed. Thanks for any new info on that, it's really frustrating to have a finished program and not to be able to distribute it... joan.

You can use installation wizard to make single-executable installation. I think that there is no chance to implement third part library in a single executable. You can make installation(self extracting archive) using Winrar. Yes, thanks. This is what I'm finally doing. I've given up the all-in-one idea, and I'm placing midas.dll in system32 and register it, on client's computer, during the installation process with an installation wizard.
