Hi, seems that this group needs some posts to keep it alive :) my question is, does Borland have standarts (give me a link? ) to deploy packages of third party components for C++ Builder. For example, I want to deploy BPLs and BPIs with OBJs and res files... There I have two alternatives. 1. not to mess with include things put the .h files into include/vcl folder of BCB obj -> Lib\Obj... etc.. That sucks, because then the developer wouldn't be much able to distingiush my files from Borland's 2. in the Program Files folder or somewhere else put the files and make every project that using the files provided with the package, include those. Also, imagine this here situation that I don't want the developer to manually add my design time packages to use with C++ Builder :), but I want it to be done automatically with my installation program. Which. maybe registry keys should I manipulate with to do this? (install the BPLs) ? So, shortly, are there any instructions to create installations (automatic ones) for packages ? Does Borland documents it in some way? :)
