Well, I'm having the same problem. I want to present Unicode on my components. My first idea is to create a new component with a WideString property. For example: TEdit has a AnsiString property in which the text is stored. If you can store the text in a WideString (=2byte/char =Unicode) the problem should be solved. I posted my question on cppbuilder.vcl.components.writing and on delphi.vcl.components.writing I hope to get an answer there.
