Hi

I need to translate an app into Chinese. I see that there are components
(TsiLang is one of them)
that will help translate the user interface.

BUT , I need to be able to store chinese characters using BDE into MS SQL
Server 7.

How would I go about setting this up ?.

It looks as if the VCL (TDBEdit etc) do support entering chinese characters
( I did a copy and
paste from the win2k character map into a dbedit field on my apps ui , and
it did display a valid
chinese character in the dbedit text box) but when I save this record and
refresh , the chinese character is displayed as a ?. I set up chinese
language support on win2k and set the locale etc etc to chinese

I am using CBuilder 5 Proff , BDE 5.11 (using ODBC) and Win2k Prof.

Any help would really be appreciated , especially since I do not know where
to start !
