The "Return-path" header is auto-generated by an SMTP server when it delivers a message to a recipient (or forwards it to another server). You cannot specify the header in the message itself. This is clearly stated in RFC 821. It also states that it is possible to have errors be sent to a different mailbox than the sender's, but it doesn't say how to actually do that. But since it is not the sender that controls the "Return-path" header, that will likely have to be a server-side option when relaying messages to other servers. Gambit
