Hi Remy,
The messages were:-

[C++ Error] Idglobal.hpp(322): E2189 extern variable cannot be initialized
[C++ Error] Idglobal.hpp(322): E2188 Expression syntax
[C++ Error] Idglobal.hpp(322): E2293 ) expected

It only happens when I place the IdSMTP and IdMessage components on the form in a particular application.
