Hi, I'm back. Thank you for forwarding this issue but I can't wait so long.
I have fixed this issue manually (in Indy 9.0.18). I am confused: the Indy
developer team knew from this problem! I found a comment in the file
"IdIMAP4.pas" at line 3429:

     "{CC: LSlRetrieve[2] should be  '(' + IMAP4FetchDataItem[fdFlags], not
'(' + IMAP4FetchDataItem[fdUID]}"

No matter, I solved the problem as follows:
1. open IdIMAP4.pas and find "function TIdIMAP4.UIDRetrieveFlags(const
AMsgUID: String; var AFlags: TIdMessageFlagsSet): Boolean;"

2. Inside this function search for: "                    if (
(LSlRetrieve.Count > 4) and
                      AnsiSameText ( LSlRetrieve[1],
IMAP4Commands[cmdFetch] ) and
                      AnsiSameText ( LSlRetrieve[2], '(' +
IMAP4FetchDataItem[fdFlags] ) )"

3. Replace with: "                    if ( (LSlRetrieve.Count > 4) and
                      AnsiSameText ( LSlRetrieve[1],
IMAP4Commands[cmdFetch] ) and
                      ( AnsiSameText ( LSlRetrieve[2], '(' +
IMAP4FetchDataItem[fdFlags] ) or AnsiSameText ( LSlRetrieve[2], '(' +
IMAP4FetchDataItem[fdUID] ) ) )"

It works now correctly. :-)
