Hi -- I am re-writing an application to send short messages remotely. It worked before, but earthlink.net now is using ASMTP. My program now comes back with the error: "Please configure your mail client to use authentication." Earthlink.net's setup changes to the host smtpauth.earthlink.net and uses port 587 under the new protocol. I'm using BDS 2006 and its version of Indy. I have searched the Indy site and googled other sites on how to solve this. There are some work arounds in Delphi, but I can't seem to get them to work in Builder C++. Has anybody else had this problem and have some fixes/work arounds? Thanks in advance for your help. John M. Hobbie hobbiejm@earthlink.net
