Yes it is. Otherwise I could not use the other Indy components like 
TIdPOP3.....

No. I tested it also on another computer - the same problem.
Could you please compile for me the Indy source files for BCB6, so I only 
need to install them into the IDE? I do not need the source - only the 
compiled packages. I would be very grateful!
