According to the C++Builder 6 help it does exists(at least on version 8 of 
Indy).

TIdTCPConnection.CurrentReadBufferSize

Current size of the read buffer.


function CurrentReadBufferSize: integer;

Description

CurrentReadBufferSize is an Integer function the indicates the current size 
of the read buffer for the peer connection.
