Is it possible to use the same client for a download and at the same time use it to browse the list contents of an ftp server? what do you think is the best way of using an FTP client? Should i better have two clients instead? Another thing i was wondering an i found that using a web browser. I see that a web browser (for example mozilla firefox) does not stay all the time connected with the server. In fact whenever i try to acces the contents of a folder it always says connecting in it's status bar. Is this approach better? i mean connect->list->disconnect. or connect->Get->disconnect. I use that for the moment because if i connect and stay inactive for a while the server disconnects me and somehow the client cannot tell if the connection has been reset. As for the downloads i Use a second client. Do you know if there is anything better to do?
