Hi,

Why have connection time-outs been removed from the version of Indy 
supplied with BCB6 and replaced with the stack defaults?

I have an app written using an earlier version of Indy and BCB4 that I 
need to add more functionality too. Unfortunately for me, we have 
upgraded to BCB6 and I have had to modify the code to get the project to 
compile.

My problem now is that when I run my app, Port Scanning takes forever as 
the connection takes too long to time-out on inactive ports.

Is there any 'quick and dirty' way I can reduce the time-out without 
resorting to a major rewrite?

I'm not normally involved with winsock projects, so I am not familiar 
with all the winsock interfaces etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.
