If you are referring to the TTcpClient and TTcpServer components that are part of CLX, then I strongly advise you NOT to use them. They are very badly designed. I can't believe Borland actually released them, but then a lot of things in CLX were messed up, which is partly why CLX did not take off very well. > Why does the server has not an onreceive? Because it is not designed to automatically read from clients at all, so there is no reason for such an event. You are solely responsible for all of the reading and writing yourself. > The server doesn't seem to have support for many clients > but anly for one. Is this true? No. It does support multiple clients. But the implementation for supporting clients is very poor, in my opinion. > if not where are the Client Sockets stacked? When a new client connects, the OnAccept event is triggered. You have to do all of your work with the client inside that event handler. Ase soon as the handler exits, the client gets disconnected immediately. Gambit
