I have i client app that logs onto an external website and if login is
successfull returns user details and the real IP of the client back to the
app(for use in other clients doing pc to pc), normally then the app would
open its server using a specified port and the returned IP address as the
server addr to use, however if the app is running with a router then
obviouly the IP returned would not be any good without tell the router admin
to use port diversion..or setting the server addr to use as 0.0.0.0 or the
adapter IP etc..
This is why i would like to detect if the user is using a router etc rather
than ask the user...

I am also using iphlpapi for getting adapter info , could i use the returned
Real IP to check against the Adapter IP's and if the real ip is not in the
list of adapter ip's then assume there is either a proxy of router being
used..
But then i suppose i have to decide what is being used..nightmare....
