To follow up on a prior thread, I am trying to avoid moving up to Indy 10,
but am running into a TIdHTTP->ContentType of "deflate" and I am wondering
if I can use zlib 1.2.2 found at http://www.gzip.org to inflate the
resulting ansistring or if I'm barking up the wrong tree. I installed the
library no problem, but am looking at the zlib.h file which seems to have
all the instructions needed to make it work, but seems a little cryptic. If
I'm barking up the wrong tree, I'd rather not try to figure it out. If this
is the right direction does anyone have any examples on how to simply
deflate a string or stream?

Regards
