TClientSocket does not trigger the OnRead event in blocking mode.

Since you did not show your code, my guess would be that your OnRead code is
not reading all of the available data from the socket.  If you do not do
that every time, leaving some data in the socket between events, it is
possible for the event to become out of sync with the socket.
