Remy,

I think something else it wrong.. When I try the following:
Create a clean new App and put a TIdTCPServer on it, than I set the defaultport 
and put the following line in the constructor of my TForm1

---
IdTCPServer1->Active = true;
---

Now, when I execute my app and do a step-by-step I noticed that the Server will 
remain "Active=false". I don't know *what* is going wrong, but I guess it 
probably has to do with the Indy-package... So, I'll tell you how I installed:

- Run the Borland Setup and removed the Indy-part from it
- Downloaded indy_9_00_17_src.zip and unzipped it to $(BCB)\Indy9.0.18_source
- Now I downloaded the indy9.0.18_source.zip and unzipped the files on top of 
the _17-files
- Run the "clean.bat" followed by "fullc6.bat" which created $(BCB)\C6
- Than from CBuilder6 i've included the .bpl from $(BCB)\C6

First I've tried this with only the _17 files, but just like with the _18-files 
on top on them, It failed.
Everytime I tried reinstalling, I've deleted the $(BCB)\C6 folder and ran 
"clean.bat"..
