Dear all,

I begin to test my application prototype which is to serve a number of
client connections, each will connect in a burst manner. That is, the
clients will connect, send a small packet, then disconnect immediately.

I run the loading test with a test program, which generates many client
requests simultaneously and continually.  After the server program runs for
a while (an hour or so), the test program starts to fail to connect to the
server prototype, with an error:

01/12/05 11:28:00 001960 001504 -- Fail To Connect. Error Code: 10061


Error code 10061 means the attempt to connect was forcefully rejected.  At
that time I also fail to telnet to the listening port of the server.

Is there any way to check the socket status when error occurs?  I build the
application using the Internet Communication Suite available at
