Here: When TServerSocket starts to listen then XP firewall comes up
and askes if the program should be blocked for accepting
incoming connections from the internet. If you say yes then
a client on the same machine can still connect but a client
from LAN can not.

Here: There is no reaction from XP firewall if I start a TClientSocket
who tries to connect with a server on the internet. It just connects.

This XP firewall is confusing as it spreaks about blocking internet
connections and then blocks LAN connections too. I wonder why it is not
possible to configure blocking per networkadapter. For a networkadapter
only known services can be blocked per adaptor.

Hans.
