I am creating a new posting because I am unable to reply to the responces to
the original one.

Thank you Hans, Vladmir and Remy for your help, the problem is solved but I
now have a new one. The following declarations

private:
        TMyMemoryStream *FBuffer;
        __fastcall TServerForm::TServerForm(TComponent *AOwner)
        : TForm(AOwner);
        __fastcall TServerForm::~TServerForm();
        void __fastcall TServerForm.ServerSocketClientRead(TObject *Sender,
        TCustomWinSocket *Socket);

produce the following errors:

[C++ Error] FunctionsUnit.h(23): E2090 Qualifier 'TServerForm' is not a
class or namespace name
  [C++ Error] FunctionsUnit.h(23): E2040 Declaration terminated incorrectly
  [C++ Error] FunctionsUnit.h(25): E2090 Qualifier 'TServerForm' is not a
class or namespace name
  [C++ Error] FunctionsUnit.h(25): E2040 Declaration terminated incorrectly
  [C++ Error] FunctionsUnit.h(26): E2449 Size of 'TServerForm' is unknown or
zero
  [C++ Error] FunctionsUnit.h(26): E2139 Declaration missing ;

This must be some kind of syntax error on my part but I cannot see it.
