Gambit - While my solution to using Indy 9 isn't "textbook", neither are the data transmissions that must be supported. The ReadFromStack is working very well and sure beats calling the socket Recv directly since the code now detects a client disconnect very quickly. I realize the looping in the OnExecute is not the intended method of servicing a socket connection, but the frequency at which OnExecute gets called does not work with the very tight timing requirements of the transmissions. As I've mentioned before, such is the reality of supporting old, non-protocol transmissions that assume a direct serial connection to a host.
