You should first double-check your Port assignment. Nowhere in your
explanation have you specified what Port the server is listening on, or
which Port you are actually assigning to the TClientSocket. You are
assigning the Host but not the Port. Trying to connect to Port 0, for
instance, can produce a 10049 error.
