I opened a previously created project that was started with indy 9. The project opens correctly. Right-clicking on the component icon now reports a 10.x version of indy.

I was trying port the code to indy 10. On a button onclick event I try to bind to an ip using the following code:

IdUDPServer->Active       = false;
IdUDPServer->Bindings->Clear();

TIdSocketHandle *pBinding = IdUDPServer->Bindings->Add();
pBinding->IP              = EditBindIP->Text;
pBinding->Port            = 40;

IdUDPServer->Active       = true;

Even when running the code from the debugger, I get a dialog
with the following message:

Access violation at address 00409D2c in module "project1.exe" Read of address 0000008.
