Thanks!
I was obviously overcomplicating things. It works now.
The only thing is that an exception is thrown 'Connection closed gracefully'
when I send the
disconnect command this way
IdSMTP1->Disconnect(true);
I read an article about this exception where it says that this is an error
when it happens in the client side. I could send IdSMTP1->Disconnect(false)
and let the server take notice of the client being disconnected but I am not
sure whether this is the right approach...
The code is like this
...
__finally
{
IdSMTP1->Disconnect(true);
}
Header.Set("Result", "1");
}
catch (const Exception& E)
{
Header.Set("Error", E.Message);
Header.Set("Result", "0");
}
IdMessage1->Clear();
}
