Anybody knows if there is a 1 byte memory leak in IdTcpClient->ReadLn() / WriteLn(); I am using Indy 9 (not sure which sub version). I am creating a program that makes up to 32 simultaneous TCP connection to another PC and gets data from it in the form of request / send. Each connection has it's own thread. Also I am writing to a character buffer, the status of the collection process then echoing it to screen via a timer in the main form. I am using BCB6 (latest patches) on XP Pro (latest patches)

I see it happen only a few times. Back to the drawing board.

You know what, I think the culprit is AnsiString!! They are not thread safe!! 'All righty then' I removed practically all occurrences of AnsiString in my thread code and now I get three errors. You know that ones that come with C++ Builder 6.0 at startup and shutdown. By the way - it was in the thousands! Thus (AnsiString != ThreadSafe)! Colin, do you replace AnsiString for string?
