Is there someway to set the Return-path header in Indy 9 in IdMessage? When I set it using the ExtraHeaders method, I end up with two Return-path headers: One set to the sender email address and the second set to the value that I use in the ExtraHeaders method. I want the ExtraHeaders value to be the only one created. I am using BDS 2006 on an XP system. Glen

The Return-path is controlled by the server(s) that the message passes through. You are not supposed to be setting it yourself at all. What are you trying to accomplish exactly? Gambit

When we send out emails to a list, we need to have the bounced emails go to a different email account than the sender account for administrative reasons. We have been using an application that does give us this ability, and it is done by setting the Return-path header to the account that is to get the bounced emails. I'm gathering from your response that this is not the normal way of handling bounced emails, but this method has worked in the past for us. Glen

Are there any suggestions on how to find out the proceedure for having the errors sent to a different mailbox? Are there some good sites that I can go to? Thanks for your help. Glen
