Indy10 + BCB5. Has anybody succesfully installed it?

I have been trying to install this for more than a week. I tried modifying the FULLC6.bat and also manually creating the bpk files. Eventhough I was able to compile it both ways when I try to create a project it always gives me the error E2257 in idWinSock2.hpp. Has anybody been able to work with Indy10 on BCB5? If so, how? Thanks,

What is the exact error message? I spent a lot of time and effort making IdWinSock2.pas be C++-compatible. So I would like ti know exactly what is wrong with it. Gambit

Thanks for replaying.
I will describe in detail what I did:
1) I manually created IndySystem50.bpk by adding each one of the units
listed in the dpk file (which I opened using a text editor). Then I
compiled without problems.
2) I did the same for IndyCore50.bpk which also includes the recently
generated IndySystem50.bpi and compiled without problems.
3) I created IndyProtocols50.bpk and when I tried to compile it crashed
when processing idZlib.pas. I saw a previous message when one person got
around this problem by setting the compiler to compile
it as a release version only. Then, it compiled.
4) Did the same with dclIndyCore50.bpk and dclIndyProtocols50.bpk.
5) I copied all the new bpl files in $(BCB)\Projects\Bpl, and all the bpi
and lib files in
$(BCB)\Projects\lib
6) I installed dclIndyCore50 and dclIndyProtocols50 in that order.
7) I copied all the autogenerated hpp files in $(BCB)\Include
8) I created a new test project and dropped a IdSSLIOHandlerSocketOpenSSL in
the form. Then I compiled
9) The linker gives me 4 errors as follows:
* [C++ Error] IdWinSock2.hpp(154): E2257 , expected
The line is 154: typedef SOCKADDR_STORAGE TSockAddrStorage;
* [C++ Error] IdWinSock2.hpp(154): E2257 , expected
The line is 248: typedef WSAMSG TWSAMSG;
* [C++ Error] IdWinSock2.hpp(154): E2257 , expected
The line is 250: typedef WSACMSGHDR TWSACMsgHdr;
and
* [C++ Error] IdWship6.hpp(22): E2257 , expected
The line is 22: typedef IPV6_MREQ TIPv6_MReq;
I also tried using a modified version of FULLC6.bat and it also fails when
processing Zlib.pas when running this command line:
dcc32.exe IndyProtocols50.dpk /O..\Lib\Protocols\objs /DBCB /M /H /W
/JPHN /N. /U. -$d-l-n+p+r-s-t-w-y- %2 %3 %4
but then runs the line below and it works.
dcc32.exe IndyProtocols50.dpk /O..\Lib\Protocols\objs /DBCB /M /H /W /N.
/U. -$d-l-n+p+r-s-t-w-y- %2 %3 %4
I could not find anywhere a FULLC5.bat file that works and I spent a long
time checking newsgroups and everywhere I could think of. I remember that
When I ran FULLC5.bat for Indy9 it worked great.
I also saw a comment of yours in another thread where you say that Indy10
had not been tested for BCB5 (as of 2/26/07), but unfortunately using BCB6
is not an option for me and I need to used the new features for idSMTP. I
figured that there might be someone out there that pulled this off since
there seems to be several people in the same situation as myself.
Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for replying. I commented the lines that were causing the problems in those two hpp files and it compiled. then, I wrote a quick app to send an email and it worked. I just need to send emails using an SMTP server and I was having problems to authenticate using Indy9. I read that IdSMTP for Indy 10 incorporates more authentication mechanisms and I want to give it a try. Do you think I could include those structures in the header for BCB5? Are there good chances Indy10 works fine in BCB5?
