Indy's SMTP will not mark the email it sends as spam. That will be done by one of the many intermediate mail programs or th elast one. So please try to find out who is doing that. Or is it your own mailprogram that receives it? > How can avoid such situation? Ask why the one who marks it as spam does so. You are aware that the sender of a mail can put its program name in the mail? Like thunderbird or outlook and so? You can put the name of your program in it too. Hans.

Hello Hans I checked the anti spam rules and one of the points that help to clasify the email as spam is "Message has X-Library header" In my case it has the following: X-Library: Indy 8.0.25 How can eliminate it? There is no easy way to do that. A message could pass through a number of servers before reaching its final destination. Any one of them could alter and/or reject the message along the way. Gambit

A lot of spammers use Indy, so a lot of anti-spam tools like to mark Indy messages as spam right away, especially from older versions of Indy. Newer versions of Indy try to work better with such tool. > How can avoid such situation? Try changing the TIdSMTP::MailAgent property to a value that does not have "Indy" in the name. Gambit

The 'X-Library' header is controlled by the TIdSMTP::MailAgent property. Gambit

Hi,
Please try to rebuild your indy without line:
Values['X-Library'] := gsIdProductName + ' ' + gsIdVersion ; {do not
localize}
that is located beetween line number 400 - 600 in idmessage.pas file. I'm
sure this resolve your problem as my did.
