I find this information in Net:

If you want that Indy 10 will be work in BDS do this:

In file IdWinSock2.hpp, afrer line ?368 (typedef TWSANetworkEvents
*LPWSANetworkEvents;) and before line typedef TWSAProtocol_InfoW
*LPWSAProtocol_InfoW;

insert this code:

#define wsaprotocol_len    255

#define max_protocol_chain 7

#pragma pack(push, 1)
struct TWSAProtocolChain
{
 int ChainLen; // the length of the chain,
                // length = 0 means layered protocol,
                // length = 1 means base protocol,
                // length > 1 means protocol chain
 int ChainEntries[max_protocol_chain]; // a list of dwCatalogEntryIds
};
#pragma pack(pop)

#pragma pack(push, 1)
struct TWSAProtocol_InfoA
{
 int  dwServiceFlags1;
 int  dwServiceFlags2;

You must be using an older version of Indy 10. The IdWinSock unit has
already been upgraded in newer snapshots to support C++ without having to
define anything manually, because the Win32 API already defines everything
needed.

I download today IdWinSock (10.0.52).

Nothing do not change in this file. :(

That is a very old (and completely C++-unaware) version of Indy 10. As you
can see on the file timestamps, the last update in that version was 2 years
ago. The current development snapshot is 10.1.5, and has the updated
IdWinSock2 unit in it (amongst other changes).

Can someone please tell me what are the EXACT steps in updating
the indy10 that come with BDS to 10.1.5?

And another thing...

What are the other folders inside the zip archive for?
I mean Bubbles, Builder, Icons( Icon16), NUnit, Test,Other.

Do they have a meaning? Am i supposed to use ONLY the Lib folder?
There seem to be a file inside the BDS/4.0/bin folder that if i delete
bds CRASHES very bad! :(

deployindy100.bpl

That is the file. I remember deleting it at an earlier attempt to
install the latest snapshot but i had enormous problems and had to put
it back there again.

Indy 10 is not available for C++ yet.

Ignore all of them. They have nothing to do with installing Indy. They are
used for Indy's custom testing framework.

> Am i supposed to use ONLY the Lib folder?

Yes.

At least the steps in order to use them in a delphi DLL
along with a C++Builder project...

OR with a full delphi project.

Either way i feel that indy10 Dev Snapshot would
be better than the ones that come along with BDS
initially.

Ah. That would explain why I was unsuccessful getting it to compile in the
C++ personality in BDS 2006.
