Hi friends, I am a begginer in c++ builder 6.0. how do I to send and receive file for socket? I know do a project to send message because there is a example with c++ builder, but I don't know how transfer files. I read transmitfile(), but I don't understand how use it. I know that I need use createfile with transmitfile and I don't have any idea of how do it. If anybody have a simple example, please show me to I begin my project. Is indy or socket more easy to my idea? I whant the way more easy and small code. I need send a file of the client to server and of server to client when necessary... I need too know when the server is online to my transfer... any help is wellcome... thanks Gustavo

Hi Gustavo, Please find in your mailbox nao@dou.meu.email a zip file with a didactic client-server template application written with c++builder 6.0. You can sent whatever data you need, ie files, with minor modifications. didier
