Multiple Indy Clients on the same PC?

Pardon my ignorance, but this is all new to me.
Is it possible to have two or more active TIdTCPClients on the same form
in an application?
I put two on the form, but if one is connected, the minute I connect the
other, the first one disconnects. So either I did something wrong, or it
is not possible to do that. Does anyone know which it is?
Thanks,

Mike

Are you trying to connect to the same server on the same port (twice)? I
would have thought you could, because the port you use is usually just a
connection port, once you're connected the client is usually on another
port.

Paul,

No I'm trying to connect to two separate pc's each has it's own server.
But they are all on the same wired network connected thru a switch
(hub). Each pc has it's own IP address, 10.10.10.2 and 10.10.10.4 and
the client pc is 10.10.10.8
The client requests data from each server and manipulates it in a
summary tabulation of the combined data. The client has to maintain
separate data files of the info it receives from each server.
I tried giving each server it's own unique port number as well as the
same number. But the same condition results.

Paul,
Your reply made look more closely at my code... sure enough, "I" was
disconnecting the first Client when I made the connection to the second.

Once I cleared thst up, they both remain connected. Sorry to have
troubled you.
