APOP authentication in Indy 9.0.50
#2762

Hi,

since I updated to version 9.0.50 (from 9.0.18) no APOP connection works
anymore. The component always sends the *same* md5-crypted password to the
server. In version 9.0.18 the password was each time differently coded.

I always get the error: Authentication failed.

That is because the TIdPOP3::Login() method is buggy in 9.0.50 for APOP. It
does not append the POP3 server's provided APOP token into the generated
hash. I have corrected the problem. Download the latest snapshot. You may
have to wait 24 hours for the mirrors to see it.
