OK. Application is now sending messages with attachments, multi-parts (plain text and html text), etc. However, the messages are really sent ONLY the second time the code to send them is used. Never the first time. The application is opened, then the message is sent. It reports that the message is gone. But that isn't really the truth. It needs to be executed a second time for the message to go. Why is this? FJF

Never the first time. Without seeing your actual code, what you describe is generally not possible. The message has to be sent every time. If you are calling TIdSMTP::Send() then there is no way the message could not be sent, without an error being reported. Gambit
