Hell all ! I am building a HTTP server using Indy 9 & Borland C++ builder 6... I am working at implementing persistent sessions and there are a couple of things i am not sure to understand properly ... 1- My TIdHTTPServer component has the AutoStartSession and SessionTimeout set so that sessions are created automatically for each command handler request thread ... Now since Sessions use cookies in their implementation, what happens if the users has it's browser set not to accept any (or this particular) cookie ? Question 1: How can i detect if the browser rejected the cookie ? It seems that the session is created in any case and can't see how to detect if the cookie was accepted or not ? I use a login form and would like to maybe "fall back" to basic authentication if the user doesn't accept cookies ? Any suggestion for a better way to handle persistent sessions ? Thanks for any help !!! Nol
