I would like to know if its possible for TdHttp to get a web page containing
javascript , will it run the script ? then pass on the actual html generated
from the javascript ?

If not how do you grab the source of the page generated from the javascript
?

Thanks,

Yes, just like any other resource with a URL.

No. In Indy, TIdHTTP is just an HTTP transport. For that you need an HTML
parser and a Javascript engine... both are outside the scope of Indy.

Why not use TWebBrowser... it has that capability already.

How to grab the source from a TCppWebBrowse instance has often been
posted in this groups. Not quite sure if javascript has been
interpreted then.

Yes.

No. That is the application's responsibility to do after the content has
been downloaded. Web browsers do the same thing - download content and then
parse/process/execute it separately.

You will have to run the Javascript yourself.
