Indy.lib not found

Installing Indy 9 worked fine, but when linking a project that uses Indy, I
get: "unable to open file 'INDY.LIB'". The Indy directory has been added to
the library paths, but this directory in my case only contains a file
'indy60.lib', not 'indy.lib'. What could be wrong?

Thank you,
Geert

I have the same problem.
Probably, TLib.exe make many warning.
I can't resolve this problem.

Sorry. My explanation was not enough.
It seems that your install indy9 was failed.
I think the following command in FullC6.bat was failed.

Please change from
%NDC6%\bin\tlib.exe Indy60.lib /P32 @IndyWin32.rsp >nul
to
%NDC6%\bin\tlib.exe Indy60.lib /P32 @IndyWin32.rsp
or
%NDC6%\bin\tlib.exe Indy60.lib /P32 @Indy60.lsp .
You will be able to check warnings.

Thank you for this information. I had a look at the output of tlib, and it
does output some (about 170, I think for every Indy object) warnings like:

"Warning: 'IdSMTP' not found in library"

However, I changed the relevant line of code in fullc6.bat to:

"%NDC6%\bin\tlib.exe Indy.lib /P32 @IndyWin32.rsp",

instead of writing Indy60.lib. The install seems to succeed, my project
compiles fine and the Indy based networking seems to work well, so it might
be that this ad hoc solution has done the job. I don't know if it's a
legitimate solution though...
