I am using a TIdHTTP component to post an XML document to a private server using SSL. The server returns an XML document that ranges between 1 and 17 KB. However when a 17 KB document is returned, the POST fuction throws EStreamError with "Out of memory while expanding memory stream" after receiving about 95% of the file. Using both TMemoryStreams and TFileStreams raise the same exception. The only thing I have found that prevents the exception from being thrown is to change the SSLOptions->Method property of my TIdSSLIOHandlerSocket object to "sslvSSLv2". When a smaller document is requested, the POST completes successfully regardless of what I have set the SSLOptions->Method property to. Any ideas on what's going on? I'm using Indy 9.0.17 with BCB 6 on WinXP. Thanks Devon
