Hi, I've created a client using Winsock on a XP machine with bcb5. The whole communication runs in a thread (class derived from TThread) and uses a hidden window for messages. The socket is created and a WSAAsyncSelect performed. I can connect to the server and disconnect from it. If I'm not sending too fast also reading and writing works fine, but at some point (couldn't figure out under which conditions) I do not receive the FD_READs any more. In the debugger I've seen that instead then always FD_WRITEs arrive. As a workaround I read and write at both events now, but if anyone has an idea or solution I would greatly appreciate it.
