I'm using digest authentication to put files onto a web server using WebDav. I'm using TIdWebDAV supplied as part of the the Indy 10 libraries and developing the application using CodeGear C++ Builder. When debugging the application I've found that within TIdDigestAuthentication the Authentication function only gets called for current step = 0. After this the DoNext function gets called and populates the required variables. However although although DoNext returns with 'wnDoRequest' after incrementing the current step to 1, the Authentication function never gets called again. The call to WebDAV.put therefore fails. A test call in the code to the Authentication function proves that it will return the correct authentication string for current step = 1 if it ever got called again. Anyone got any ideas? David

The TIdAuthentication.Authenticate() method is called for each step of the authentication process. If Authenticate() is not being called a second time, then the authorization process is not reaching that far. Gambit
