SSH and Secure FTP
#5483

I need to convert my telnet and FTP sessions to a FIPS 140 compliant
SSH and Secure FTP. Right now I am using the ICS components from
Francois Piette which works wonderfully. However, ICS doesn't (yet)
provide the SSH / Secure FTP protocols. Does anyone know of another
SSH / Secure FTP component suite out there that has or soon will have
the US FIPS 140 approved SSH / Secure FTP protocols?

BTW: I tried to contact SecureBlackBox, but got no response.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

The mail is bouncing, as you could note. We hope to have it working
today or tomorrow.

Eugene,
I had sent you an email (private to mayevski@eldos.org) on Aug 2,
2004, but I haven't received a response.

My email is: robert.grabau@navy.mil

So, Does SecureBlackbox have some certification? If so, what?
As you can guess, the US Navy wants certified software, so I do have a
problem. FIPS-140 standard is still considered as the minimum level.

Thanks,

Bob

I did send it on Aug 2. Nevermind, here's the answer:

===
Although the components were created in conformance to various standards
including FIPS, they were not officially tested and certified. The
reason is that the procedure of such testing is not clear.
===

I am not sure if you will be able to find any officially certified code
for SSH...
