Hi All

Is there anyway to instantiate a TIdFtp without dropping a vcl component
on a form?

Sort of: TIdFTP *ftpInstance = new TIdFTP( this );

I trying to make a connection class and would like to make this work

Thx

Of course there is. TIdFTP is a normal component, and all components can be
instantiated dynamically.

That is exactly what you need. Did you actually try it yet?

Are you having a particular problem with it?

Yes, I did try it. But my mistake was that 'this' wasn't a TComponent. I
Null'ed it instead and it work like a charm.

Thx for your input
