Hi there

I want to install Indy 9 in my BCB5.

In the ManualInstall.txt file it says that if I run Fullc5.bat
things will be stored in c:\Indy\D4 I do not want any files
on my C: drive. Instead I want all files on my programming
drive G: can I change that ?

I'm know very little about .bat programming, but i see this:
%NDWINSYS%
in the Fullc5.bat and that vory me a little...

Please help

Thanks in advance
Asger

Then do so. Indy 9 has a FULLC5.BAT install script for compiling Indy for
BCB 5. Then just install the .BPL that is generated.

That it not where they are stored. First off, the actual folder name used
for BCB 5 is "C5", not "D5". And second, that folder is a subfolder of
whereever you install the Indy source code. So if you install it to
"G:\Source\Indy", for instance, then the compiled files will be stored at
"G:\Source\Indy\C5".

The generated BPL is put in the Windows System folder by default, yes. If
you don't want that, then you will have to edit the .bat file to use a
different path. Then you will have to change the IDE settngs to include
that location in its search paths.
