Hi,

I have a strange problem.

I use WebModule to create some CGI to run on a USB portable hard disk. The
CGI updates some FoxPro database. It works well. However, when I move the
program to another USB portable hard disk (Cutie Pock Hard Disk Drive),
there are some kinds of internal error and the CGI fails to return with an
output.

I though this Cutie hard disk is wrongly configured as read only because the
error appears when I execute command such as Table1->Edit(). I create
separate desktop program on the same directory and access to the same
database, it works. This gives me an impression that the disk, directory and
the database are not read only.But why it refuses to be updated when
accessed within BCB5 WebModule?

I have checked the IIS set ups and do all the possible to rectify the
problems. In particular, for the same CGI, if I switch the database to some
one in other USB portable drive, it works.Why is this particular hard disk
that does not allow database updating using WebModule CGI?

I end up re-installing IIS 6, BCB5 and re-format the Cutie hard disk. Same
problem that the Cutie hard disk exists that it does not allow updating of
databases.

I guess this is a difficult problem. Any help will be most appreciated!
