I've been searching high and low for online versions of help for TASM32 included with BCB6.0 Pro to no avail. They included the assembler with the package, advertised it as part of the feature matrix, and yet do not document it? The only pitiful text I found related to TASM32 was "TASM.HTLP" which had very few papers and even sparser information (yes, the error list is good, but why no list of directives?). Do I have to purchase TASM 5 separately just for the documentation? Also - BASM is another feature of BCB, yet again there is no documentation about BASM's features, i.e. what are its limitations compared to TASM, legal instructions/directives/etc.? Sorry to vent, just wasted a whole day searching for how to use inline assembly/assembly with the tools provided. Anyone know of where I might be able to download a PDF version of the TASM User's Guide or Reference Manual? Short of that, any books out there that I can purchase? Thanks.

Hi Harold, [...] > Do I have to purchase TASM 5 separately just for the documentation? No, you haven't. There is a possibility to avoid it (see the below link). > Also - BASM is another feature of BCB, yet again there is no documentation > about BASM's features, i.e. what are its limitations compared to TASM, > legal instructions/directives/etc.? All the limitations are described in BCB help. I suppose you can get more information about BASM in the respective group on this server. [...] > Anyone know of where I might be able to download a PDF version of the > TASM User's Guide or Reference Manual? [...] AFAIK nowhere :-( But you can find it useful to read Paradigm Assembler User's Guide (~ 945 kb), which is the clone of TASM: http://www.ee.washington.edu/class/472/wtr01/reference/pasmug.pdf -- Best regards, Vasya Pupkin.

Hi Harold, Sorry, I haven't noticed your crossposting and my reply seems to have gone to both the groups as well. Please don't reply me in the BASM group, which I'm _not_ subscribed on. -- Best regards, Vasya Pupkin.

Is somewhere available the PASM itself? thanks Ivan Kossey Kossey@cablenet.de
