Is it safe to install BCB5 on a PC that already has BCB7.

There is no BCB 7.  But in general, yes, multiple versions of BCB can be 
installed on the same machine.

I was having in mind C Builder2007.
Then, I assume it is OK to install BCB5 on the same PC.
