Linker Error "Unable to open VCLE50.LIB" even after rebuild as BCB6-project

Hello,

I still do experience an linker error regarding VCLE50.LIB even after an
rebuild as BCB6-project. But I can't find any reference to that lib. Not
even in binary files.

Is there anything I could do?

Thanks...
David

Mostly that is not the way to do it. Better: Start a new project and
add the same units to it.

Did you look in the .prj file ? Remove it there.

Hans.

David,

Manually edit your project file - vcle50.lib is from BCB5 and so isn't included in 6. A change to just "vcl.lib" will probably work - this is a standard director library which will link to the correct vcle version.
