BCB4 -> BCB6, w2k Prof Hi, in BCB4 I have an "invisible" app with a trayicon doing automatically database tasks in the background. No user activities are possible. Right clicking the trayicon opens a popup menu. Left clicking an item of the popup menu opens a _visible_ form with a password text field for admins only. After compiling the unchanged code in BCB6 the app works as used from BCB4 - but on the development computer only. On all other computers with w2k Prof I tested after left clicking the popup menu item the window does not open. Instead of a button in the taskbar is displayed which is not wanted. Also in the Windows Task Manager the app is first displayed as expected under "processes" but after the left click under "apps". Because the app works in BCB6 as used from BCB4 on the development PC it could be an environment problem relating to different DLLs and/or BPLs on the the other PCs. But I cannot find out. Could you please help? TIA Regards Michael
