I'm trying to compile a component with Delphi source in BCB 6. It does OK initially, but has a plethora of linker errors when it finishes, listing unresolved external reference to Outline::TCustomOutline. I added "Outline" to the list of modules under "uses" in the .PAS file, so that it appears thus: uses Windows, Messages, Classes, Controls, Outline; ...with the belief that this would resolve the references to TCustomOutline. However, the linker complains that it can't fine OUTLINE.OBJ! This makes little sense to me, since the other "uses" modules don't have OBJ files either, but ALL of them have DCU and RES files in the $(BCB)/Lib/Obj directory. If the linker can find the Windows, Controls, etc. modules, why is it choking on Outline? Many thanks, Terry

You can do this automatically if you add the Delphi source file to the project (in the project manager). Hope, I was clear enough and that it helps. I often fighted with this error, but with some try and error cycles I ended up with a running code! Kind regards, Rolf
